5/5 For service, was seated quickly at a nice window seat. Server was friendly and prompt, got our order quickly and checked on us. Mimosa flight 5/5 - totally worth it! But watch out, that pineapple one has a kick to it! Truffle cheese fries 5/5 Can't go wrong, just the right amount of cheese too, so it's not overwhelming. Fig and goat cheese burger 4/5 Solid burger, lot of arugula but the bite was good. Nice medium rare patty and had a good mix of the sweet and creamy taste I was expecting with the fig and cheese. The burger buns themselves are decent but feels like something is missing. Just being picky :P It's the only burger place downtown and pretty solid. Jalapeño cheddar burger 4/5 Again, has all the good stuff, meets expectations, tastes good. Pretty solid. Enjoy!

Was on my way home and decided that I wanted to enjoy a stroll down Castro Street. As I was parking, I realized it was happy hour time and felt like I deserved a treat. I walked in a little after 4 PM. The restaurant was pretty empty, but the bar was about 60% full. I was quickly greeted by a manager, who took my order. A minute or two later she came back to let me know that she had neglected to tell me about the day's drink special, which was essentially an upgrade to the old-fashioned that I had already ordered, and about the food special for the folx who are on their rewards program. Lucky for me, today's super secret menu item was a pastrami burger. The old-fashioned was spot on, and I'm not gonna argue with happy hour prices! Pastrami burger... Absolutely insane. I'm serious, you need to get this sandwich. If you don't believe me, check out the picture. I upgraded to the truffle fries, which do not disappoint! After my initial order, one of the bartenders took care of everything else and was very attentive. There were a couple bartenders on duty and they seem to split the bar only interacted with one. The crowd was friendly, one of the patrons strongly suggested I become a member to get the secret sandwich. I have been here a few times before for a quick drink, but today's visit will definitely bring me back more often.

The best Eureka! location. Every time I come I am well taken care of, the food always is amazing, and the drinks are even better! (You have to check out the happy hour it is fabulous) Some of my favorites are the house margarita (it comes out of a tap and is one of the best unique margs), the salmon kale Caesar, and you can't go wrong with any of the burgers with some truffle fries. Eureka is a great place to come for a casual meal, to watch a game, or to hang with coworkers after a busy day! If in the Bay Area, don't miss out!

Wonderful ambiance (right on Castro street and lives up to the vibe of the street), good bar food but slow service. We went in on a Tuesday evening and the place was busy but still were able to get seating (outside) rather quickly. They have a great collection of beers and cocktails were good too. The Mac and cheese balls and shishito peppers were great! The food did take a while to come out but it was ok since we were not in a rush.
